YUPOBlue Now Available in 100 lb Cover

Welcomes A “Fifth Grader” To The RIT Certified YUPOBlue Family

CHESAPEAKE, VA – To keep pace with the ever-growing digital printing market, YUPO now offers designers and creatives more options for short-run and customized pieces.  The most recent YUPO addition: a 100 lb cover RIT certified product that will be featured at the HOW Design Conference in June.

“The heavier, hardier weight is perfect for cards, book covers, photos, ID and membership cards, plant tags and other outdoor signage use, menus, cookbook, even product tags,” said Dave Jeffers, technical service manager.  “Yet, 100 lb YUPOBlue has all the traits that separate YUPO from all other synthetics — beautiful, smooth, bright white and waterproof,” he added.

With YUPO’s famous texture and attributes, the extra body found in the 100 lb cover provides additional options for print projects subject to heavy wear, outdoor elements or various binding methods.  YUPOBlue 100 lb was officially RIT certified earlier this year.

The entire YUPOBlue® line is Yupo America’s newest synthetic paper made specifically for and certified to run on the HP Indigo line of digital printers.   YUPOBlue and HP Indigo allow the flexibility of using an exceptional substrate on projects that are printed digitally.

YUPOBlue is now offered in five weights of 12” x 18” sheets:
1. 78 lb. 5.9 mil text
2. 58 lb. 8.0 mil cover
3. 74 lb. 9.9 mil cover
4. 86 lb. 11.6 mil cover, and
5. NEW 100 lb. 13.8 mil cover
