What is the shelf-life of YUPO paper?
The shelf life of YUPO® products varies based on factors such as application, storage conditions, and format (roll vs. sheet). Therefore, it is challenging to specify an exact shelf-life period. As a best practice, we recommend consuming stock on a first-in, first-out basis, using the delivery date as a reference. Generally, you can expect a minimum shelf life of one year from the delivery date, provided the product is stored in its original, unopened packaging and under warehouse conditions not exceeding 120°F. If the product has been opened and needs to be stored again, ensure it is properly resealed. For stock that has surpassed this time frame, it is advisable to verify its performance for your specific application or contact our Technical Service Department at (888) 873-9876 for assistance.

How can we minimize dust build-up?
- Dry dust on open unit.
- Minimize impression pressure.
- Print with yellow down first to minimize effects of dusting.
- Use coarse blankets versus super smooth.
How can we eliminate set-off?
- Racking lifts no higher than 3-6 inches (depending on ink coverage) will prevent the weight of the lift from causing set-off to the printed sheets.
- Prevent static from occurring. (See: “How can we control static when printing on YUPO?”)
- Move / Air the printed piles of YUPO with care.
